Odisha CM Majhi and Deputy CM Parida Announce New Scheme for Women

On Thursday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired a State-Level Natural Calamity Committee meeting at Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar. During the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida assured the public that the party will achieve every resolution mentioned in their manifesto.

Parida highlighted the ‘Subhadra Yojana,’ a new scheme approved by the cabinet. She announced that the Prime Minister will come to Odisha to inaugurate the scheme on his birthday, September 17. The Subhadra Yojana aims to benefit women by contributing to their social and economic development, especially those living in villages.

Earlier, at a public meeting in Bhubaneswar, it was stated that the BJP, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, will provide cash vouchers worth Rs 50,000 for women in Odisha over the next two years. This initiative is part of Modi’s broader effort to empower women, emphasizing that empowering women leads to the empowerment of entire families.
