NTA Faces Allegations Over NEET Exam Irregularities, New DG Appointed
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is under scrutiny for alleged irregularities in the NEET (UG) 2024 exam, with 67 candidates scoring a perfect 720. The NTA claims its web portals are secure, dismissing hacking allegations.
The government has postponed the NEET-PG exam, canceled the UGC-NET exam, and replaced NTA DG Subodh Kumar Singh with Pradeep Singh Kharola. A high-level committee led by Dr. K Radhakrishnan will recommend reforms. The CBI is investigating isolated incidents during the NEET exam.
