NTA Delays CUET-UG Results Amid Exam Controversies

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has delayed the announcement of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) results, which were initially scheduled for June 30. The University Grants Commission (UGC) chief, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, stated that the NTA is working on it and will notify the new date soon.

CUET-UG is the primary admission test for undergraduate programs at 46 Central universities. This year’s exam was conducted from May 15 to May 31 in both online and pen-and-paper formats.

The delay comes amid allegations of irregularities in other exams like NEET-UG and UGC-NET, which have impacted several entrance tests, including CUET-UG. The Centre has formed a panel to ensure that the NTA conducts future exams transparently, smoothly, and fairly.

The delay in results has caused anxiety among students who have prepared extensively for these exams. The announcement of new dates by the NTA is anticipated to provide some relief to these students.
