NSUI Protests at NTA Office Over NEET Exam Issues

New Delhi [India], June 28: A case has been registered against NSUI workers after they entered the NTA office during a protest against NEET issues, according to Delhi Police. The case includes several sections of the IPC.

The protest was led by the Congress’ National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) at the National Testing Agency (NTA) office over alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 exam. Delhi Police officials were present at the scene.

Varun Choudhary, National President of NSUI, stated, “We are continuously demanding from the government that NTA should be banned. Students now do not believe in the examination being conducted by the NTA.”

President Droupadi Murmu assured that the government is committed to a fair investigation of the recent paper leaks and will ensure stringent punishment for the guilty.

The opposition plans to raise the issue in Parliament on Friday, following a meeting at Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge’s house. The NTA is facing criticism and demands for its disbandment due to the alleged exam irregularities.
