NSUI President Varun Choudhary Condemns ABVP’s Actions at University of Delhi

The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has strongly condemned the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for allegedly trying to divert attention from the issue of fake degrees held by their office bearers at the University of Delhi.

Varun Choudhary Speaks Out

NSUI President Varun Choudhary criticized the ABVP, highlighting their history of violence and misdirection. He stated, “This is a clear attempt by the ABVP to shift focus from real issues like the NEET, NET, and NTA scams. ABVP has consistently indulged in violence across Indian campuses. At the University of Delhi, they have repeatedly resorted to violence, including thrashing and threatening professors. These actions are not only condemnable but also reveal their true intent to mislead students and cover up their own malpractices.”

NSUI’s Official Statement

In a detailed statement titled “Our Response to ABVP’s Diversion Tactics,” Choudhary elaborated on the NSUI’s stance. He accused the ABVP of fabricated violence, attacks on idols, and producing counterfeit degrees to mislead students. He emphasized that the NSUI is committed to truth, justice, and transparency, focusing on real issues affecting students.

The NSUI urged authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the fake degree scandal at the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) to ensure accountability. “Our students deserve representatives with integrity, not those with fake degrees and marksheets,” the statement read.
