Daniil Medvedev’s Thrilling Victory

In another quarter-final match, Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev defeated World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in a thrilling five-set match. Sinner won the first set in a close tiebreak, but Medvedev made a strong comeback to win the second set 6-4. The Russian maintained his momentum, winning the third set in a tiebreak. Although Sinner bounced back to win the fourth set 6-2, Medvedev kept his cool and won the final set 6-3 to advance to the semi-finals.

Carlos Alcaraz’s Comeback

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz also secured his place in the semi-finals by defeating Tommy Paul from the United States. Alcaraz lost the first set 5-7 but bounced back to win the next three sets 6-4, 6-2, and 6-2. The 21-year-old Spaniard will face Daniil Medvedev in the semi-final match of Wimbledon 2024.
