Noida Road Accident: 3 Dead and 9 Injured, Police Respond Quickly
In Noida, Uttar Pradesh, a tragic road accident occurred early Tuesday morning, resulting in the deaths of three people and injuries to nine others. The accident happened when a pickup truck lost control and overturned after being hit from behind by a car. The incident took place around 3 am under the jurisdiction of PS Ecotech-3.
Details of the Accident
According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Central Noida, Hirdesh Katheriya, the occupants of both vehicles were acquaintances returning to Kulesara after attending a wedding. Upon receiving information about the accident, the police quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, three people succumbed to their injuries, and four of the injured were later referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi for further treatment.
Traffic Advisory in Delhi
Earlier in the day, the Delhi Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory due to another accident involving two loaded trailers on Munirka Flyover. The advisory warned that traffic on the Outer Ring Road from IIT towards Delhi Cantonment would be affected. Visuals shared by the Delhi Traffic Police showed two trailers stranded on the flyover, with one trailer having hit the rear end of the other.
