Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 29: Reliance Foundation hosted a grand event called ‘United in Triumph’ on Sunday at their residence in Antilia, Mumbai. The event, led by Nita Ambani, celebrated the spirit of sports by bringing together 140 Olympians and Paralympians for the first time under one roof.

The evening honored athletes for their hard work, determination, and contributions to India’s growing presence in global sports. Notable athletes like Neeraj Chopra, Manu Bhaker, Murlikant Petkar, Devendra Jhajharia, Sumit Antil, Nitesh Kumar, Harvinder Singh, Dharambir Nain, Navdeep Singh, and Praveen Kumar attended the event. Sporting legends such as Deepa Malik, Sania Mirza, Karnam Malleswari, Pullela Gopichand, and Harbhajan Singh were also present.

Former India goalkeeper PR Sreejesh and para-shuttlers Suhas Yathiraj and Nitesh Kumar, who won medals at the Paris Paralympics, graced the event. Bollywood actors Kartik Aryan and Ranveer Singh added glamour to the evening.

Nita Ambani, a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), expressed her pride in the athletes and wished for ‘United We Triumph’ to become a movement. She said, “It’s a very special evening. For the first time, India’s Paris Olympians and Para-Olympians are gathering on the same platform. We are so proud of them, all Indians are proud of every one of them. Today, we are going to honor them and show them the love and respect that we have for them. On behalf of the Reliance Foundation, we wish that ‘United We Triumph’ can become a movement.”

‘United in Triumph,’ envisioned by Nita Ambani, marks a historic milestone in Indian sports by uniting Olympians and Paralympians on a single platform. Under her leadership, Reliance Foundation aims to transform India’s Olympic future, empowering athletes to achieve greater success and solidifying India’s position in international sports.
