On Monday, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will introduce the Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill, 2024, in the Lok Sabha. This bill aims to authorize the payment and appropriation of certain sums from the Consolidated Fund of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the financial year 2024-25.

Discussions on the Union Budget 2024-25, which was presented on July 23, will continue in both Houses of Parliament. The budget for Jammu and Kashmir, presented on Tuesday, will also be discussed further.

Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, will make several statements in the Lok Sabha regarding the implementation of recommendations from various reports on education, women, children, youth, and sports. These reports include preparations for the Olympic Games 2021 and demands for grants from 2021 to 2024.

Other Union Ministers, including Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Pankaj Chaudhary, and Bhupender Yadav, will lay papers on the table and discuss the election of two members to the National Tiger Conservation Authority.

In the Rajya Sabha, Union Ministers Kinjarapu RamMohan Naidu, Rao Inderjit Singh, and others will also lay papers on the table. The budget session, which began on July 22, will continue until August 12.
