NIA Investigates Terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun’s Properties in India

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is actively investigating six cases involving Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a designated terrorist. As part of the investigation, the NIA has attached three properties owned by Pannun in Chandigarh and seized several land parcels in Amritsar linked to him. This action highlights the NIA’s dedication to dismantling terrorist networks. Details about the cases and properties remain undisclosed as the agency continues to pursue leads to curb Pannun’s activities.

In September, the NIA conducted searches at four locations in Punjab related to Pannun’s promotion of terror activities. These searches, conducted in Moga, Bathinda, and Mohali, resulted in the seizure of incriminating materials, including digital devices, which are currently being examined.

Earlier, an Indian inquiry committee visited the United States to investigate a former Indian government official’s involvement in a foiled assassination plot against a US national. This inquiry was initiated following security concerns raised by the US government.

Pannun, who holds American and Canadian citizenship, is a leader of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and a pro-Khalistani terrorist.
