NIA Investigates Murder of BJP Leader Vijay Krishna Bhuiyan in West Bengal
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out search operations in Moyna, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, in connection with the murder case of BJP booth president Vijay Krishna Bhuiyan. The NIA team arrived around 2 am and conducted searches at various locations in Goramahal and adjacent areas.
Vijay Krishna Bhuiyan was kidnapped and murdered in May 2023. Following his murder, Bhuiyan’s family filed a written complaint at the Moyna police station and later approached the Kolkata High Court, demanding an NIA investigation.
In May this year, an NIA team visited Moyna to investigate the case further.
