NIA Investigates 2023 Chhattisgarh Poll Blast

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches in Chhattisgarh’s Gariyaband district related to the 2023 state assembly poll IED blast. The blast, carried out by CPI (Maoist) cadres, killed a Head Constable of the ITBP ADHOC 615 Battalion.

NIA teams searched premises linked to nine suspects in Chhotegobra village, seizing mobile phones and digital devices. The NIA took over the case in March and identified supporters of CPI (Maoist) involved in the attack.
