NIA Files Chargesheet in 2022 Bhupatinagar Blast Case
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a supplementary chargesheet against three accused in the 2022 Bhupatinagar blast case in West Bengal, which resulted in three deaths. The charges against three deceased accused have been abated.

The chargesheet, filed before the Special Court in Calcutta, names six individuals:

NIA’s Investigation
The NIA took over the investigation from the state police on June 4, 2023. The chargesheet exposes the criminal conspiracy involving the supply of explosives for making bombs to spread terror and violence in the region.
