The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Muniyad Ali Khan, the 17th person involved in a gold smuggling case at Jaipur International Airport. Muniyad, who had been hiding, was caught after an Interpol alert. He conspired with others to smuggle gold from Saudi Arabia to India, hiding it in emergency lights. Customs officials seized gold worth over Rs 9 crore in July 2020. The NIA continues its investigation.
