NIA Arrests Key Aide of Khalistani Terrorist Lakhbir Singh Sandhu
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a significant arrest in a major terror network case. Baljeet Singh, also known as Rana Bhai or Balli, was arrested on Thursday from Punjab. He is a key aide of the designated Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Sandhu, also known as Landa.
Baljeet Singh, who hails from Badwani district in Madhya Pradesh, was found to be a major supplier of weapons to Landa’s agents in Punjab. These weapons were used to carry out large-scale terror activities, including extortion from businessmen and others.
The NIA’s investigation, registered as case RC 21/2023/NIA/DLI, also led to the arrest of Gurpreet Singh Gopi, an associate of Landa and another Khalistani terrorist, Satnam Singh Satta. The investigation revealed that Baljeet Singh had also provided weapons to Satta as part of a larger conspiracy by various banned Khalistani terrorist organizations to destabilize India through violent acts in Punjab and other places.
The NIA stated, “Both Landa and Satta are believed to be operating from foreign soil to promote terror in India.” The agency continues its investigation as part of its crackdown on Khalistani terrorist outfits.

Satnam Singh Satta -: Satnam Singh Satta is another terrorist associated with Lakhbir Singh Sandhu. He is believed to be operating from another country.
