The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) (NEET PG) 2024 was successfully held on Sunday at 416 centers in 170 cities. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) organized the exam, with 228,540 candidates appearing.

Exam Details

The exam was conducted in two shifts to ensure the best centers were chosen. Admit cards were issued to all candidates, and efforts were made to allocate centers within their states.

Monitoring and Security

NBEMS set up a central command center in Delhi and eight regional centers to oversee the exam. Over 1,950 appraisers and 300 flying squad members were deployed to monitor the process. Social media was closely watched to prevent misinformation.

The Union Health Ministry and NBEMS officials ensured the exam was conducted smoothly and securely, maintaining the integrity of the examination.
