Neena Malhotra Appointed as India’s Ambassador to Sweden
The Ministry of External Affairs in India has announced the nomination of Neena Malhotra as the next Ambassador to Sweden. Malhotra is currently serving as an Officer on Special Duty within the Ministry. She is expected to assume her new role soon.
Previously, in October 2020, Malhotra was appointed as the Ambassador of India to the Republic of San Marino while also serving as the Ambassador to the Republic of Italy. She is a 1992-batch Indian Foreign Service officer and was residing in Rome during her previous assignments.
