In Mumbai, Maharashtra, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has released its election manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections. Additionally, the old age pension will be raised to Rs 2,100 per month.
For farmers, the Shetkari Sanman Nidhi will increase from Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 annually, and there will be a 20% additional subsidy for crops sold under MSP. The manifesto also promises a Rs 25,000 per hectare bonus for paddy farmers and the construction of over 45,000 ‘panand’ roads in rural areas.

The NCP aims to create 2.5 million jobs, provide a monthly stipend of Rs 10,000 to 1 million students, and offer a Rs 15,000 monthly salary for Anganwadi and ASHA workers. The party also plans to reduce electricity bills by 30% and focus on solar and renewable energy.
