NCP Leader Baba Siddique Shot in Mumbai
In a tragic incident in Mumbai, NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot and later succumbed to his injuries. He was brought to Lilavati Hospital with two gunshot wounds to his chest. Despite emergency efforts, he was declared dead at 11:27 PM.

Dr. Jalil Parkar, a physician at the hospital, reported that Siddique arrived with no pulse or blood pressure, and the ECG showed a flat line. Dr. Nitin Gokhale, a cardiologist, confirmed the gunshot wounds and stated that the exact number of bullets would be determined after a postmortem examination. Dr. Niraj Uttamani described Siddique’s critical condition upon arrival, noting the immediate resuscitation efforts that were unfortunately unsuccessful.
Police Investigation
The shooting occurred around 9:30 PM in Nirmal Nagar. Mumbai police have arrested two suspects and recovered a 9.9mm pistol used in the crime. The Mumbai Crime Branch is actively investigating the case, as confirmed by Additional CP Paramjit Singh Dahiya.
