In Chandigarh, Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini has been sworn in as the Chief Minister for the second time under the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government. Following the swearing-in ceremony, which was held at Dussehra Ground in Panchkula and administered by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Saini retained several important departments. These include Home, Finance, Excise and Taxation, Planning, and more.

Minister Anil Vij has been assigned the Energy, Transport, and Labour departments, while Minister Shruti Choudhry will oversee Women & Child Development and Irrigation & Water Resources. Saini expressed his commitment to serving the people of Haryana, emphasizing the principles of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The BJP has formed its third consecutive government in Haryana, winning 48 out of 90 seats in the assembly elections, while the Congress secured 37 seats.
