Naxalite Killed in Encounter with Security Forces in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh

A Naxalite was killed in an encounter with security forces in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. The clash took place in the forests of Semaldodi on the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border, involving Telangana Greyhounds and Chhattisgarh District Reserve Guards (DRG).

After the encounter, a carbine, grenade, Naxal uniform, and literature were recovered from the site. An intensive search is ongoing around the area.

Earlier, two DRG personnel were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast by Naxalites in Mudvendi village. According to Bijapur Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Yadav, both injured soldiers are out of danger.
