Islamabad [Pakistan], July 21: Nawaz Sharif, President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), urged Supreme Court judges to reconsider their decisions to better serve the masses. Speaking at a Punjab government meeting on the solar programme with his daughter, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, he criticized the court’s ruling in the reserved seats case and its role in his 2017 ousting.

Sharif questioned the fairness of the Supreme Court’s actions, recalling how a petition by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan led to his removal from office. He also addressed the issue of high electricity bills, promising relief for citizens and highlighting his government’s past achievements.

Maryam Nawaz launched a scathing criticism of the Supreme Court judges, accusing them of destabilizing the country and warning them of severe consequences. She emphasized that decisions should be based on law and the Constitution, not personal biases.
