After visiting the Sree Ayyappa Mahakshethram temple, Haridas expressed confidence in winning the by-election against Congress candidate Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. She claimed that Congress is trying to sway voters with kits, money, and liquor due to fear of losing.

Haridas highlighted her positive interactions with voters, noting increased local support for the BJP. She criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for not addressing key issues in Parliament and expressed concerns about the Waqf Board issue, which she says is causing anxiety among local families. Haridas assured that the central ministry supports the people of Wayanad.

Additionally, Haridas criticized Congress’s handling of the night traffic ban in Karnataka’s Bandipur Tiger Reserve, a matter upheld by the Supreme Court in 2019. She claimed that Congress has not fulfilled its promises regarding this issue. The by-election in Wayanad is part of a larger voting process across 31 assembly seats in 10 states, with candidates including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra from Congress, Navya Haridas from BJP, and Sathyan Mokeri from the Left alliance.
