USISPF Leadership Summit 2024: Vision for Amaravati and Telecom Advancements
On October 14, in New Delhi, Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh shared his vision for Amaravati at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) Leadership Summit 2024. Lokesh emphasized developing Amaravati as a “premier world-class city” powered by green energy, aiming to compete with global capitals. He highlighted a unique skill census in the state to understand residents’ skills for targeted interventions.
Lokesh also reflected on his educational experiences abroad, stressing the importance of character and integrity in education. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia spoke about India’s telecom sector transformation, noting the success of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and the rapid 5G rollout across India. Scindia mentioned India’s progress in switching from 4G to 5G networks.
