In the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, an Army jawan named Naib Subedar Rakesh Kumar was killed during an encounter with terrorists. The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, along with all ranks, paid tribute to his sacrifice. The operation took place in the Bhart Ridge area on November 9, 2024. The White Knight Corps expressed their condolences to his family.

Ongoing Encounter in Kishtwar

Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir police reported an ongoing encounter in the Keshwan area of Kishtwar. Security forces are engaged in a gunfight with three to four terrorists believed to be trapped. This group is suspected of being responsible for the deaths of two villagers.
