Gardens of Tolerance Inaugurated in Abu Dhabi

On November 16, Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, along with Yoo Jehseung, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the UAE, inaugurated the first ‘Gardens of Tolerance’ at Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi. This event is part of the National Festival of Tolerance and Coexistence.

Symbol of Friendship

The ‘Gardens of Tolerance’ is a beautiful sanctuary featuring a diverse collection of Emirati and Korean trees and plants, symbolizing the friendship between the UAE and South Korea. The ceremony was attended by ambassadors from various countries, highlighting the importance of international collaboration.

Festival Highlights

The festival, organized by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence in collaboration with the Korean Embassy and Korea Festival 2024, celebrates the cultures of both nations. A major highlight is a live performance by K-pop sensation The Wind, aiming to unify cultures through music.

Cultural Activities

Visitors can enjoy Korean workshops, Emirati heritage sessions, and Taekwondo demonstrations. Performances include the ‘Unbelievable Show’ by Bubble J, K-Nongak by Gwangju City Municipal Gwangjiwon Nongak Band, and Taekwondo displays by Akh Unit and the KCC Youth Taekwondo Team.
