Nagpur’s Economic Explosives Ltd Develops Powerful New Explosives for Armed Forces

Economic Explosives Ltd, a subsidiary of Solar Industries in Nagpur, has created three new explosive formulations that significantly enhance firepower and explosive effects. Solar Industries officials stated, “Economic Explosives Ltd, a subsidiary of Solar Industries, Nagpur, has developed three new explosive formulations that can prove to be a game changer for our armed forces due to the sheer enhancement of firepower and explosive effect.”

Introducing SEBEX 2

One of these new formulations, SEBEX 2, offers a more powerful blast than any current solid explosive. Officials explained, “SEBEX 2 is a new explosive formulation that provides a much more powerful blast effect than any currently available solid explosive.”

Higher TNT Equivalence

Officials further noted that explosives with higher TNT equivalence have more lethality and destructive power. They said, “The performance of any explosive is measured in terms of TNT equivalence. Explosives with higher TNT equivalence have more lethality and destructive power. Conventional explosives, like DENTEX/TORPEX, which are used in conventional warheads, aerial bombs, and many other ammunitions worldwide have the TNT equivalence of 1.25-1.30.”
