Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad Criticizes BJP’s ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ Slogan
New Delhi, India – Chandrashekhar Azad, the MP from Nagina representing the Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram), delivered his first speech in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. He criticized the BJP government’s slogan ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ as hollow and called for a caste-based census to achieve social justice.
Call for Social Justice
Azad emphasized the need for a caste-based census and increased reservations for deprived groups based on their population. He highlighted the struggles faced by minorities, SC, ST, and OBC communities, both in educational institutions and government jobs.
Criticism of Government Policies
Azad criticized the BJP for not addressing the issues of reservations in the private sector, which employs 98% of the workforce. He also pointed out the lack of attention to the wages of ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and Bahujan mothers.
Local Issues and National Concerns
Azad spoke about the backwardness of Nagina, his constituency, and the lack of economic packages and services. He called for the abolition of the Agniveer scheme and the reinstatement of the Chamar Regiment. He also criticized the government for waiving loans for wealthy businessmen while farmers face hardships.
