Cabinet Meeting Highlights
The Nagaland State Cabinet recently held a meeting to discuss the upcoming 25th Hornbill Festival, set to take place from December 1 to 10 at the Heritage Village in Kisama. K. G. Kenye, the Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, shared that the Tourism Department is working hard to ensure impressive arrangements for the festival.

Despite demands for a Frontier Naga Territory, the Minister is confident that people from eastern Nagaland will join the celebrations. G. Hukugha Sema, Commissioner and Secretary of Tourism, emphasized the importance of tribal bodies in the festival’s success, noting their cooperation has been crucial for the past 24 editions.
Coordination and Planning
A coordination meeting with tribal Hohos and organizations was held to discuss preparations. Representatives shared ideas and challenges, including water scarcity, electricity, network connectivity, and financial constraints. Sema expressed optimism for a grand and glorious 25th edition.
