Amaravati Drone Show Sets Five World Records
In Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants of a remarkable drone show that achieved five world records. These records included the largest planet formation, landmark creation, and airplane formation. The event was part of the Amaravati Drone Summit 2024, held by the Krishna River.
Naidu’s Vision for Drone Technology
Naidu, along with Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, attended the summit and shared plans to advance drone technology in the state. Naidu aims to make Amaravati the “drone capital of India” by allocating 300 acres in Kurnool district for a drone hub and training 35,000 drone pilots. A comprehensive drone policy will be released soon to facilitate business for drone manufacturers.

Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu highlighted the participation of over six thousand people in the summit and praised Naidu for promoting technological innovations.
