MUSS Donates Rs 3,67,995 to Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee in Dehradun

The Manav Utthan Seva Samiti (MUSS) handed over a cheque of Rs 3,67,995 to the Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee. This amount, including service tax, was given as an insurance premium by United India Insurance Company Limited for the security of Char Dham Yatra pilgrims. The event took place at the Secretariat House in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and was attended by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Earlier, Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Radha Raturi reviewed a report by IIM Rohtak on the carrying capacity of the Char Dham Yatra. She directed the preparation of an action plan to ensure a smooth and safe pilgrimage. The plan includes improving medical and emergency services, managing traffic, and preserving the local ecology. Discussions also covered the implementation of RFID and AADHAR-based registration systems, SMS weather updates, and crowd control measures.
