Mumbai Police Arrests Two in Connection with NCP Leader Baba Siddique’s Murder
The Mumbai Police have apprehended two individuals in relation to the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was shot dead. The suspects, Gurmail Singh from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh, were reportedly monitoring Siddique in Mumbai.

Gurmail Singh’s mother expressed her ignorance about his activities in Mumbai, stating he had gone to Pune for work and had not been in contact. She mentioned he last visited during Holi and had only sent money once when his sister was ill. Singh’s grandmother also noted the lack of communication, saying he had not been in touch for several days.
Dharamraj Kashyap’s mother shared a similar sentiment, revealing he had left for Pune to work in a scrapyard and had contacted her only once since then. She was informed of his arrest by the police.

The Mumbai Crime Branch has filed a case at Nirmal Nagar Police Station under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Arms Act, and Maharashtra Police Act. The case is registered under Crime Registration No. 589/2024.
