Mumbai police have arrested Mohammed Zeeshan Mohammed, a 21-year-old man working in a private bus agency, for molesting a 13-year-old girl on August 25. The incident occurred when the girl was returning from a grocery store. She informed her family, who then reported the case to the police.

The investigation, led by senior police inspector Sudhir Kudalkar, revealed that Zeeshan did not have a mobile phone. However, he contacted a relative in Dahisar using an unknown number, misleading the police about his location. Eventually, he was tracked to Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and arrested with the help of local police.

Zeeshan has been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
