The shooting occurred between 9-9:30 pm near Nirmal Nagar police station. Two pistols and 28 rounds were recovered from the scene. The police have custody of the suspects until October 21 and are investigating the involvement of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. DCP Crime Branch Datta Nalawade stated that they are verifying a social media post claiming responsibility for the murder.

Security and Investigation

Although Siddiqui did not have categorized security, he was assigned three police personnel, one of whom was present during the shooting. The police confirmed that three shooters were involved, with one managing to escape. The Crime Branch has deployed 15 teams to investigate all possible angles, including connections to Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi.

Legal Proceedings

The case has been registered at Nirmal Nagar Police Station under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Arms Act, and Maharashtra Police Act. The investigation continues as the police work to apprehend the remaining suspect and uncover the motive behind the murder.
