In a major effort to stop illegal drug trafficking in Mumbai, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Mumbai Police have seized 31.5 kg of a drug called mephedrone. They also arrested three people involved in this activity.

Details of the Seizure

On Wednesday, the NCB team first found 10 kg of mephedrone with a man named Musharaf JK. Later, they found another 10.5 kg of the drug with a woman named Nausheen, who also had Rs 69,13,400 in cash. On Thursday, the team found another 11 kg of mephedrone with a man named Saif.

How They Caught the Suspects

The NCB received information about a drug trafficking group in Mumbai. They identified a network in the Nagpada and Dongri areas, led by Musharaf JK. After careful surveillance, they caught Musharaf with 10 kg of the drug. He then led them to Nausheen, who had more drugs and cash. Finally, they caught Saif with another large amount of the drug.

Ongoing Investigation

The NCB and Mumbai Police are still questioning the three suspects to get more information. They are also continuing their investigation to stop drug trafficking in the area.
