In Mumbai, a tragic incident occurred when a BMW car struck a bike, resulting in the death of Kaveri Nakhwa and injuring her husband. The main accused, Mihir Shah, has been missing since the incident, prompting the police to form six teams to locate him.

Police have arrested Mihir’s father, Rajesh Shah, and another individual, Raj Rishi Rajendra Singh Vidawat, for not cooperating with the investigation. Both will be presented in court tomorrow.

The deceased woman, Kaveri Nakhwa, was a resident of Worli Koliwada. Her husband is currently receiving treatment for his injuries.

The BMW car involved in the accident was confiscated from the Bandra area. The police revealed that the car belongs to a political leader from Palghar, and his son was in the car with the driver at the time of the incident.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde assured that strict action would be taken against those responsible for the hit-and-run. He emphasized that the law would be applied equally to everyone involved.

Aaditya Thackeray also commented on the incident, expressing hope that the police would act swiftly to bring the accused to justice. He and MLC Sunil Shinde met with the victim’s husband and promised to ensure justice is served.
