Mumbai City FC has announced the signing of Nikolaos Karelis on a one-year contract until the end of the 2024-25 season. The club expressed their delight in a statement, highlighting Karelis’s extensive experience and skills.

About Nikolaos Karelis

Nikolaos Karelis began his football journey with Greek side Ergotelis at the age of 16. He has played for several Greek clubs, including Panathinaikos, PAOK, and Panetolikos, where he was the captain. Karelis has also played in top European leagues, including stints with Genk, ADO Den Haag, Brentford, and Amkar Perm.

International Career

Karelis has represented Greece in international matches, scoring three goals in 19 appearances. He made his full international debut during the UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifiers, scoring against Finland.
