MP Minister Gautam Tetwal Celebrates Birthday with Prayers at Mahakaleshwar Temple
Madhya Pradesh Minister for Skill Development and Employment Department, Gautam Tetwal, celebrated his birthday by offering prayers at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain district. He was accompanied by his family and participated in the Bhasma Aarti, a famous ritual performed early in the morning.
The Bhasma Aarti, which involves offering with ashes, is conducted during the ‘Brahma Muhurta’ between 3:30 and 5:30 AM. According to religious beliefs, the wishes of devotees who participate in this ritual are fulfilled. The temple priest explained that the doors of Baba Mahakal were opened in the Brahma Muhurta, followed by a holy bath of Lord Mahakal with Panchamrit, which includes milk, curd, ghee, sugar, and honey. Baba Mahakal was then decorated, and the Bhasma Aarti and dhoop-deep Aarti were performed amid the beating of drums and blowing of conch shells.
After the worship, Minister Tetwal expressed his gratitude, saying, “Today, I got an opportunity to attend the Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal. It is my birthday today as well, and I received the blessing of Baba Mahakal. With the blessing of CM Mohan Yadav and Baba Mahakal, I received an opportunity to serve the people of Ujjain, and I am grateful for it.” He added, “I pray to Baba Mahakal to keep his blessing on Madhya Pradesh and the country. May our nation receive respect, honour, and prestige.”
