Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], September 16: Madhya Pradesh Congress Chief Jitu Patwari responded to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation statement, noting that it was Kejriwal and his party’s decision. Patwari remarked, “The decision taken by Arvind Kejriwal ji is his and his party’s. Everyone has their own perspectives and plans. However, there is a sense of vengeance with which Narendra Modi is operating under the guise of political acumen in the country. This is evident. In a democracy, the Constitution grants everyone the right to express their opinions.”

Patwari also expressed hope that his party would emerge victorious in the upcoming assembly polls in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, and Delhi. He stated, “The Congress party is contesting the elections in Delhi, Haryana, and Kashmir with full strength and strategy. They will win the assembly elections in these states.”

Notably, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced on Sunday that he would resign from the position of Chief Minister after two days and would not sit in the Chief Minister’s chair until the people of Delhi declare him “honest.” Kejriwal mentioned that if the public votes for him, it would serve as a certificate of his honesty. He also stated that he would request early elections, alongside the state of Maharashtra.
