MP Congress Chief Jitu Patwari Criticizes Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha’s Alcohol Remarks

Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari criticized state cabinet minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha’s suggestion that women should make their husbands drink alcohol at home to shame them into quitting. Patwari argued that the government is promoting intoxication instead of addressing alcohol prohibition and de-addiction.

Kushwaha made the remarks during a ‘Nasha Mukti Abhiyan’ program, advising women to form ‘Belan’ gangs and not cook for inebriated husbands.
