MP CM Mohan Yadav Invites Amit Shah to Launch ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met Union Minister Amit Shah at Parliament in New Delhi. He invited Shah to launch the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign in the state.

CM Yadav expressed his happiness about Shah’s continuous support for Madhya Pradesh’s development. He mentioned that the campaign aims to plant 5.5 crore trees, starting with 51 lakh trees in Indore district from July 7 to July 14.

State cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya shared that preparations are underway, with pits being dug and saplings ordered from various states. The Indore Municipal Corporation, along with other organizations, will plant trees in different areas.

The campaign will conclude on July 14, with a goal to set a world record by planting 11 lakh trees at the BSF shooting range and Revati Range. A team from the Guinness Book of World Records will be present to document the event.
