Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Krishi Bhavan in New Delhi. They discussed various topics related to agriculture and rural development.

Key Decisions

CM Yadav highlighted the issue of Kodokutki, a crop not covered under the Minimum Support Price (MSP). He suggested granting MSP to Kodokutki on par with Ragi. Minister Chouhan agreed, setting the MSP for Kodokutki at Rs 4290, the same as Ragi, to promote millets and ensure fair prices for tribal farmers.

They also discussed the cultivation of pulses and palm oil. Minister Chouhan mentioned that the Government of India has permitted Madhya Pradesh to purchase moong.

Commitment to Development

Both leaders expressed their commitment to the development of Madhya Pradesh and the country. They took immediate decisions on several issues and agreed to consider others according to policy.
