MP Biplab Kumar Deb and CM Manik Saha Celebrate Independence Day in Tripura

On August 15, MP Biplab Kumar Deb from Tripura West celebrated the 78th Independence Day by hoisting the national flag at Katung Para, Radhamohanpur Village Council in West Tripura. The event saw participation from local residents and district officials. MP Deb extended his wishes to the citizens on this special occasion.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha also celebrated by hoisting the national flag at his residence in Agartala. CM Saha paid tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence. He also congratulated the Police and Home Guard personnel from Tripura who received the President’s Medal for Meritorious Service.

A cultural program was held at the Assam Rifles ground in Agartala, organized by the School Education department. The event featured a dance drama promoting a drug-free Tripura, mesmerizing dance performances showcasing the state’s rich Janajati culture, and a wonderful yoga session, reflecting the true spirit of patriotism.
