More Companies Choose EPFO for Employee Provident Fund Management
In the past two years, 27 companies have given up their exemptions, adding about 30,000 employees and Rs 1688.82 crores to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). The Ministry of Labour and Employment credits improved services for this trend.
EPFO has introduced new Standard Operating Procedures and is launching a new software and portal to simplify exemption surrender. As of March 31, 2023, 1,002 exempted establishments manage Rs 352,000 crores for 31,20,323 members.
