The period from Moola Nakshatram to Vijayadashmi is seen as auspicious, and during the Sharannavratra Mahotsav, Kanaka Durga is adorned as Sri Saraswati Devi. Temple priest Umakanth Sarma mentioned that the seventh day of celebrations began with great enthusiasm, wishing that Saraswati Devi fulfills the wishes of her devotees.

Meanwhile, in Kolkata, the Chetia Agrani Durga Puja was celebrated with a theme depicting the temple city of Kashi and the ghats of Varanasi. A symbolic Shiv Mandir Ganga Aarti was held, attracting many devotees. The event highlighted the issue of Ganga river pollution, emphasizing that if the river is polluted, it affects the entire society.
