Mohan Bhagwat Urges Hindu Unity at RSS Gathering in Rajasthan
In Baran Nagar, Rajasthan, Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), addressed a gathering of RSS volunteers. He emphasized the importance of unity within the Hindu society by overcoming differences in language, caste, and region for its security. He stated, “For its security, Hindu society will have to unite by eliminating differences and disputes of language, caste, and province. Society should be such that there is a practice of organization, goodwill, and intimacy.” Bhagwat also described India as a ‘Hindu nation,’ explaining that the term Hindu encompasses all sects of people living in the country. He said, “Hindus consider everyone as their own and accept everyone.”
Bhagwat further explained that the RSS’s work is thought-based rather than mechanical, emphasizing the unique nature of their efforts. He described the process of personality development within the RSS, where values are passed from group leaders to volunteers and their families.
Prominent figures such as Rajasthan region Sanghchalak Ramesh Agarwal, Chittor province Sanghchalak Jagdish Singh Rana, Baran division Sanghchalak Ramesh Chand Mehta, and Baran district Sanghchalak Vaidya Radheshyam Garg were also present at the event.
