Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj arrived in Hyderabad after participating in a victory parade and felicitation ceremony in Mumbai. He landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Friday, where fans gathered to show their love and support.

Siraj expressed his happiness, saying, “We had to wait 11 years for this moment so I am really happy.”

India’s 7-run win over South Africa in Barbados marked their first ICC trophy in 11 years, with the last victory being the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 under MS Dhoni’s leadership.

After arriving in New Delhi from Barbados, the Indian team met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The team then traveled to Mumbai, where they celebrated with an open-top bus parade from Marine Drive. Fans danced and cheered as the players lifted the T20 World Cup trophy high in the air.

The parade ended at Wankhede Stadium, where the players danced to ‘dhol’ beats with fans. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) presented the team with a cheque of Rs 125 crores. The players also distributed balls, took selfies, and signed autographs for the fans.
