Minister Swatantra Dev Singh and Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Sister Attend Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple
Uttar Pradesh Minister Swatantra Dev Singh visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, to offer prayers and seek blessings from Baba Mahakal (Lord Shiva). He participated in the Bhasma Aarti, a famous ritual performed with ashes during the early morning hours known as ‘Brahma Muhurta’.
Famous singer and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh’s sister, Sneha Singh, also attended the Bhasma Aarti and offered prayers. The ritual is believed to fulfill the wishes of the devotees who participate in it.
During the dhoop-deep Aarti, Minister Singh reached near Baba Mahakal’s GarbhaGriha and offered jal (water) to Baba Mahakal through the priest. He prayed for blessings for everyone, including PM Modi, Madhya Pradesh CM, and UP CM, so they can continue to serve the people.
According to the temple priest, the doors of Baba Mahakal were opened in the Brahma Muhurta, followed by a holy bath of Lord Mahakal with Panchamrit, which includes milk, curd, ghee, sugar, and honey. Baba Mahakal was then decorated, and the Bhasma Aarti and dhoop-deep Aarti were performed amid the beating of drums and blowing of conch shells.
After worshipping Baba Mahakal, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh expressed his prayers for the continued blessings of Baba Mahakal on the people of India and its leaders.
