Mihir Shah’s Forensic Report in Worli Hit-and-Run Case Shows No Alcohol
Police have received the forensic report of Mihir Shah, the main accused in the Worli hit-and-run case that occurred on July 7. According to the report, Mihir Shah’s blood samples tested negative for alcohol, indicating he was not under the influence at the time of the incident.
The Worli police arrested Mihir Shah from Virar Fata approximately 58 hours after the incident. By the time of his arrest, any alcohol in his system would have likely dissipated. His blood and urine samples were sent for forensic analysis, which has now come back negative for alcohol.
This result is a setback for the police, who must now rely on circumstantial evidence to present their case in court. If the report had been positive for alcohol, it would have made the case easier for the police.
Earlier in July, police also arrested Rajendra Singh Bidawat and Rajesh Shah, the father of Mihir Shah, for their alleged involvement in the incident. The hit-and-run took place near Atria Mall in Mumbai’s Worli area, where a speeding BMW hit a motorcycle, resulting in the death of Kaveri Nakhwa (45) and injuries to her husband Pradeep.
