Meghalaya Police Catch 10 Bangladeshi Nationals Near Purakhasia

The Meghalaya Police, with help from the Border Security Force (BSF), caught 10 Bangladeshi nationals traveling in an autorickshaw near Purakhasia. They were stopped at a mobile checkpoint set up on SH-12 between Dalu and Ampati. The individuals were later taken to court, and further investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, five people, including two Bangladeshi nationals, were arrested at Agartala Railway Station for illegal entry into India. The arrest was made in a joint operation by the Government Railway Police (GRP), BSF, and Railway Protection Force (RPF). The arrested individuals include Nasim Molla (19), Shathi Molla (33), Rohingya Addus Salam (53), and two Indian touts, Shabir Aarab (48) and Abdul Sakur Fakir Mahamad Khavra (40). A case has been registered at the GRP Police Station.
